not touching the political aspect but the Houston owners stepped in ti with his " we can't have the inmates running the prison" comment.
I'm sure he truly endeared himself to "his" players.

I don't seem to have the passion for watching I once did.
of course as a kid the games were sunday afternoon... then came monday night .... and then sunday night ....and then thursday night... and then early sunday in london....
And I hate the sunday night games that don't start until 8:30, work comes awfully early the next morning.

I loved Meredi th especially when he made fun of Cossel. He made watching the game fun and didn't over analyze like some of the talking heads we have to put up with today.

Watching the Penn State vs Ohio State game today is another good reason why college games can be so much better.

I agree, and this one was worth watching. What a display by Ohio State in the 4th quarter. Penn State can wave goodbye to the #2 spot.

Correction. I've sold two of mine. Both implies I have no more. I really do consider the Miata a sports car...in it's way much more so than the semi-exotic NSX. Might I even suggest that the manual top and analog gauges make it a more pure sports car than the S2000? No, I guess I won't suggest that.

Hey Harry,
a nearby store sells a baseball cap you'd love.
the logo is 1/4 pats/celts/B's/sox.
