When I was in high school they cost 12 cents. For 5 bucks you could get 2 dozen a 6 pack of cheap beer (if you got lucky) and still have enough gas for a Friday evening.

There was a California Pizza Kitchen at the Menlo Park Mall when I worked up that way a few years back. It closed down aftter a while.

I don't think that style of pizza suited the area, as we were used to 'real' pizza. I ate there once, and only once. I remember they had this huge menu and I couldn't find anything edible, lol.

They also had to compete with Champs right next door, which certainly didn't help.

 

Hmm...their thai lettuce rolls were pretty tasty...

 

Mmmmm. Guess who just picked up a bag of Cracker Barrel Pancake Mix and a couple bottles of their maple syrup yesterday?
