Speaking of "modifications"...
The unfortunate part is there are some members of this forum that have vehicles that wouldn't be entirely out of place on that list.
I love my S2000, but feel it's disregarded as a serious vehicle by the enthusiast community because of the "modders".....

In the S2000 class of cars, I see a lot more 350/370Z's, Miatas, RX7/RX8's, and numerous other cars that are modded more often than the S2000.
Wonder what those people you mentioned, consider a "serious vehicle"?
A couple of those...the one with the cardboard body kit and the truck with the giant rear tires...are probably commentary on the mod scene. I'm starting to see the LED light bars like the one on Bow Down here and there. On off-road trucks they make sense. But I guess they are getting to be a thing on import sedans and coupes, too.
The cars with crazy stance and camber probably don't drive around like that. They are likely bagged. There was a Z at a recent cars & coffee that was stanced with insane camber. But then I saw it leaving at a semi-normal ride height and camber. Still weird to me but, what the hell. My parents didn't "get" the supercharger and rims I put on my old Civic Si, either.
