This shoulder already had two surgeries. He left has had at least one. She doesn't have RA but she has osteoarthritis. She's also had both knee replaced.

When Ricky broke his clavicle he had a sweetheart of a surgeon for his ORIF.

Assuming the planets align, by this time tomorrow night I should be resting comfortably having gained about 2.0 ounces of titanium.
I have to be there at the unholy hour of 6:15 AM but at least I should be home early.
I will be a mighty happy camper to get the clavicle off of my neck muscles and back where it belongs.

See y'all on the flip side.

^ speedy recovery to you. Does the metal plate stay in for a long time or does it get removed eventually ? I've had a metal plate in my leg for many years, going through airports can be fun.

Well, to the best of my knowledge things are ok, Although I'm still pretty sedated and the nerve block is still effective,.
I know this 'cuz my left tit is numb. hand too,
Clavicle had a total of 5 fractures, so I have 5 new screws and a titanium plate.

No back to sleep. I am amused when you're coming to and they ae giving you all kinds of post-op care instructions.
