OK it's Friday morning, 4 days out from surgery.
I'm off of pain meds entirely. Slept pretty well last night. It itches a bit which is good.
my ribs have made themselves known to me again. I think that will take the longest to clear up.
But I think that is a good thing no that my clavicle is in place and healing quickly.
But waiting another 4-6 weeks to do PT and get back in shape will be hard.

I had my follow up with the surgeon this morning.
Nothing dramatic. He took the sticky clear dressing off.
I can take a shower now, mostly without restrictions except don't directly scrub the incision area.
I still should wear the sling outside of the house but inside is fine without it. Which is really good since i haven't used it in a week.
I start rehab in 3-4 weeks. I bumped my status up in the titanium club.
On my way to the six million dollar man $50k at a pop.

Jerry- I'm three weeks behind here. I had no idea. Good to know you're still with us, and that you're on the road to recovery.
Agreed.

Hope you're healing/coping well, Jerry.

Looks like they grabbed some parts from an Erector Set.

The good news is the shoulder is feeling a lot better.
The ribs are doing relatively well although still capable of reminding me they are still pissed at me.

The downside is I am going stir crazy.
I'm still restricted to 5 lbs on my left side and no lifting above the belt.
I am bored out of my mind. I think i may have finished reading the entire web.
I now want a TIG welder and laser cutter, a 3d printer, a plasma cutter. a wood joiner, a planar, a band saw, a crapload of epoxy, some carbon fiber cloth, an autoclave. a milling machine and a lathe.
Oh and some rocket motors, big ones.

I forgot the two post lift, the rotisserie, and the building/ garage to put everything.
I also had a discussion listing the cars I would like to acquire. Yes Robb, an R107 is on the list. did you have one in mind?
Low mileage, late '80s R107 are going for stupid money. It appears that ship has sailed.
Also an R129 SL600 with a clean rust free body, perhaps a MKIII Sprite project, a 914/6 project.

I read my list to my beloved and she said " You can't retire."
I should probably 'invest' in a powerball ticket.
