No, I couldn't count change so they wouldn't hire me. I guess that is why I left accounting too.

The moto T5820 sells for $105 on moto site. I purchased it for $50 with $25 rebate from best buy. But it is no longer offered

Yesterday I went to the Radio Shack (did NOT ask for my name etc, Carmen ) and bought:

*Motorola T5400FRS on sale for 14.99
*Hands-free Headset #21-1897 for FRS for 21.99

Tested them out and they work fine

Have you determined what channel we are going to be on? I saw on the set I bought that certain ranges of channels are for GMRS only.

If something can be done, I can always find a more expensive (and slightly better) way to do it:

This radio could be modfied to work on FRS and GMRS. It is type accepted for transmitting on three amateur bands, puts out five watts, and is a wide band receiver. It weights about six ounces with an all day battery.

Usual on line price is about $330.
