The Vintage Weather Thread
NorCal is having a tough time. Keep in mind that this is where Napa Valley and the majority of the California wine region is. No rain is not good for the grapes. And no grapes means no wine.
And what wine there is in the stores will go up in price.
Of course, that's important, but having no water is kind of even a bigger problem over all.
For the first time in 165 years, San Francisco recorded no measurable rain in January. Santa Cruz normally gets 6 inches of rain and likewise got none. SoCal got a little rain in January, but not our usual amount during what is normally the wettest month.
