3 days ago cancelled a round of golf scheduled for today due to forecast of heavy cold rain all day.
it was glorious and sunny....
of course Sunday is forecast for thundersnow..... wonder if I can find my bathing suit by then....

The sun is peaking out a bit now and I see a few kites on the Mall through my binoculars. Today is Kite Festival day and I planned to go, but it rained up until a couple of hours ago so not sure how many will be up and flying. Tomorrow would not work as a backup since there will be about 40 mph winds and cold. 
Of course, the cherry blossoms are gone. The parade is next weekend.
