Same here Robb, though totals like that are more likely up in the hills. More like up to 3" here in the lowlands. Temps today in lower 40's, 20's tonite, woodstove is running.

The leaves all decided it was time to drop this weekend.

I'm dressed in layers today, and I brought out the mid level warm coat. I don't care what the date is as far as turning on the heat, but I really, really try to hold out on heavy coats until after Halloween. However, it was 36 degrees this AM, out came a warmer coat. I even used auto start!

41 here this AM. Was all set to ride the motorcycle until I found out the roads were wet. (Bike is freshly detailed and ready for storage.) Had to go back in the house and change out of my riding gear so I could take the Civic to work.

Fall/winter is definitely in the air. The S2000 is detailed and sitting in the garage. Think it is time to change the fluids and put it away.

Didn't get any snow by my house but the ski trails got covered and out in the higher points of the forest they got a few inches.

There appears to be this white stuff out in the yard....
The local news is reveling in the coverage with 2 weather guys.
all this for less than an inch.
just enough to bring out all the badness of a snowstorm like sand and salt but not the prettiness. ( or the skiing)

I thought New Englanders always knew how to drive in the snow. At least, that's what they told me when they came south...
