One more day of 90s, then it will be 80s for at least a week. Yay. I guess all the heat is out in the west/northwest. I know my nephew in Seattle is not used to it. But come Sept, he and family will be living here, where we have a variety of weather.

Talk about variety. Yesterday's high was 84 and today's is 64.

Just got home from 4 days in San Diego. I don't know what the big deal is with SD, the humidity was horrible. 93% on Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m. All three full days there were miserable. Stepped off of the plane in Boise and enjoyed the 97 degrees and 14% humidity much more than 81 degrees and 80+% humidity. Everyone agreed.

The weather in San Diego is not the norm. Rain in So Cal in the summer is almost unheard of. (flash flooding in Riverside area) You just happened into town when weird sh$t was going on.

Along with our cooler temps, we are getting slammed with lots of rain/flooding today.

Our weather is improving nicely. Has been hot and humid but we are in for a string of cooler days (70s/low 80s) for awhile with much lower humidity. So nice to have the windows open. I am concerned about TX Jim in Houston. They are getting ready to be slammed with 10-20 inches of rain from Harvey. Some of you have seen pics of his street/yard from previous floods.

It's looking a little ominous for the Texas Gulf coast this weekend and beyond.. The flooding could be pretty bad. I hope we can stay above water...

Hope you have good luck and avoid any damage or floor waters Jim.
