Weather has been spectacular the past few days...low 80s with low humidity. Wakeup this morning was 62! That will change tomorrow, when we start a long period of 90 or above.

Been rainy and cool here. Rains some just about every day. I was going to cut the lawn yesterday, (first dry day in awhile), but the lawn care guys came. Can't cut it for 48 hours. It will be raining again by then.

Had some rain on the 4th but the past two days have really been wet. Today will be the wettest. I'm guessing we will make up for any shortage we had.

We have had a great weather run of late. Really nice summer weather. We've had some top down time and Rick has taken the P car to work a couple times, as when I go home at lunch I grab the Honda. The ride to my office is not a fun ride, but the ride to the Y a couple towns over (I've been trying some different classes) after work is a nice run. I head there after work by the highway, but take back roads home. So enjoyable.

A little rain tomorrow, but a good weekend coming up.

Heat went away today and tomorrow, but comes back heavy after that. I am headed to Nashville tomorrow where I will be reacquainted with humidity.

Heavy rain last Thursday and Friday with lots of flooding in low lying, or poorly draining areas. Weekend was great, low humidity and mild temps, and then torrential rain and severe storms last night. Some tornadoes in north central Indiana. Today it has just been wave after wave of heavy rain. Flash flood warnings in several counties in central Indiana. It's like being in the tropics only without any of the perks of the tropics.

We've been having heat waves in LA lately. I was driving with my top down in 112° weather the weekend before last. It got up to 104° in La Crescenta last weekend. It was 87° today, just a pleasant Summer day. It's going over 100° again this weekend, but we'll be in Big Bear Lake at 7,000 feet+, where it'll be in the high 70s. I can't wait!

Nice contrast to the heat for a couple of days at least - cool enough to open a window yesterday. Only about 80 and the same for today with low humidity. I'll take it. Had several inches of rain Fri/Sat. We are headed to the Nats game later.
