We had a black ice drive this AM. Took off a little after 7am to a UofM medical appointment. No fun. Salt truck crashed into the center barrier on the opposite side of of the expressway. Police vehicles took up one lane going the other way. Our 45 minute drive was easily double that. Just thankful not to get rear ended.

I've been in SoCal for 6 days and it's been cool and breezy. I fly into Denver tomorrow and I'm super glad it wasn't today. There have been ferocious winds there and it would have been a rough flight for my queasy stomach.
Spring showed up here in MA this weekend. We managed a short top down drive yesterday after we care of "things" after returning from SC. I had ONE more day off today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Out and about with the camera, spent some time at the zoo. Gorgeous out!

Rain moving in wed/thur....should wash most of the salt off the roads, just in time for May.
