Supposed to be 68 here today. I think this is the last hurrah. 30s by the end of the day tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future.

A cold front is dropping down across Texas this morning. Temps are dropping and the wind is blowing up to 30 mph. It is due to hit Houston before noon. No snow tho.

86 and sunny skies here in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Just back from beach and pool. Where's my beer?

Polar vortex reaches the Boston area on Saturday with temps down to the 30s. Today we are in the low 60s.

What a difference a day makes! Same photo perspective as yesterday when the polar vortex was about to arrive. Only now the temperature is 12 degrees with 2 inches of squeaky snow.

Cell phone photos.

Ugh on snow so early. We'll get the temps Bill mentioned, but no snow. Hopefully, there will be one more warm up. Rick needs to wash and put the S under cover, but with working going on on the exterior of the house, the driveway is being used by pick up trucks and guys with tools.

Rick has been taking the S to work, but it looks like it will stay home on Friday (in front of a neighbor's house) when the polar vortex comes to call.

Bring it on. We have entered the ugly time of year when the sky is gray, the trees are gray and my mood is gray. At least snow will brighten up things.

Does the sun ever shine in northern Ohio from November to March? I used to travel to Streetsboro, Sidney, and Mt. Vernon, when I was working, during those months, and it always seemed to be gray, just like you said. Ugh!

I thought I saw the sun once last winter but it was just a bright street light.
