NWS says we've had 15" accumulate so far. Will probably get a couple more before the end of the day. Miss my plow. I'm clearing a 500' driveway with a snow blower now.

That sounds like a lot of snowblowing, how many passes does it usually take?

2-3 trips down and back depending on how much of a cut I can take. The blower is 33" wide. The time consumer is the parking area. I have space for 3 cars in front of the garage and 3 more in the turnaround. The turnaround is a pain as I have to keep backing up. This morning I spent about 1/2 hour, but did not do as thorough a job as I usually do. I also only did 1/2 of the turnaround.

We are getting/have gotten a LOT of snow I've made three passes with the plow and shoveled three times and it's still coming down like crazy.

We have the wintery mix. Very little snow but slush poor drainage as there is left over snow and he roads will all be freezing over around 7:00 tonight as temps will plummet. Daughter in law will be on the road. Hoping she pleads sick and gets out of work early. Commuting can be downright dangerous

I saw on the New England News this morning that there will be a "flash freeze" tonight in Mass. so you all be careful.

^^^We don't have the slush problem here....temp has warmed to 1 below! So far have got only about 7" of new super light snow that the winds are blowing all around.

we are rather white. We are much warmer than Levi, jeez we got up to 10°F.
We don't have to worry as much about the "plummet" since it can't get that much colder.
If the snow were out on a ski trail it would be called champagne powder.
But it's not on a ski trail, it's on my driveway and walkways.
I can't tel how much we have be have anymore other than up to and still.
That's up to my a-- and still snowing.

I do seem to be lacking a certain motivation with respect to firing up the snowblower again so soon.

The mix turned back to all snow, the temps dropped as predicted. I cleared the front steps and back steps when I got home. Since it rained on top of the snow, the slush needing to be moved was like cement. Thankfully, there wasn't too much, Rick cleared out the driveway pretty quickly with the snow blower.

Daughter in law made it home safely.
