Lainey, here's a quote from AE, where I got my 1 in 14 number. "There are still some out there who don't believe this "Detroit thing" will have anything to do with their lives or livelihoods, of course. It's hard for some people to understand that because Detroit and Michigan ("The Flyover State") are viewed as relics from an ancient country no one remembers anymore, even though 1 in 14 jobs in the U.S. are still either directly or indirectly dependent on the domestic automobile industry. I really don't know how else I could possibly present those figures in order to get through to people out there that they should care deeply about what's going on in Detroit and Washington right now, because it's real and it will affect you, no matter where you are, or how flush your circumstances are."

I may have heard incorrectly. It was a quickie news segment last night.

I also read an article about the possible impact to employment, or should I say unemployment, should there be a merger between Chrysler and GM. As one whose bills are paid, with a paycheck from a Chrysler/Jeep dealership, I hope they find a better solution.

Speculation is GM would have had to take out as much as 90 percent of Chrysler

^ That's okay by me. I was off topic in my own topic, too.

That never happens here!

I'm glad Patty is seeing improvement with her meds. Better living through drugs.

Yeah, as long as the side effects don't kill you.

This stuff is the mildest med for RA but it can wreck your retinas, I think it is. Oh, and maybe the liver, too.

I know! I listen to the drug commercials. When they get to the list of possible side affects I have to wonder who would want to take the drug in the first place?

I've had horrible luck with prescriptions... usually they make me feel worse.

The stuff I had for headaches a few weeks ago gave me WORSE headaches.

The other stuff gave me wicked indigestion.

But I think it's because they always force you to get generic drugs.

Patty I hope the medication works until there is a real fix for you
