See, I told you that you can't keep a good woman down (for long). So glad to hear you're feeling better.

Just want to update. It's been 6 days since my first Enbrel shot and tomorrow (Wednesday) I'll give myself the second one. It's really helping, a lot! Before the first shot, it hurt me to pull the covers up in bed, with my right hand. I would wince in pain to do it. Not anymore. My right knee swelling has gone way down and I can see there is a knee cap under there, now. I can walk barefoot without pain. My outlook on my life has really improved.

Thank you, Ladies.

I was up at 4:30 a.m. this morning, and thought I might as well do my first self-given shot of Enbrel. I had my pinch of belly roll in my left hand and the hypodermic needle in the other. I just sat there willing the needle to get in there. I didn't jab hard enough on my first attempt. I finally poked it in and was surprised at how little it hurt. The hard part was pushing the plunger down to empty the thing, but I got it done. I know people do this all the time, more than once in a day, but I'm patting myself on the back anyway.

Patty. You're very brave. I used to give myself B12 shots in the thigh. I couldn't believe how hard it was to push that plunger down after I got the needle in. I did it for over a year, but never got used to it. Good for you!!!

Chapter 5: Hand Specialist for right wrist bump.

After living with this supposed "ganglion cyst" for 5+ months, today I'll have it taken seriously for the first time, today. Now that I can't straighten my right thumb and my arm hurts too. I see the hand specialist who fixed my stuck left ring finger last year, this morning.
