Thanks. I went to Kennedy Meadows on Tuesday night, and stayed until today. I went to wash the trailer and use polishing compound on it, and then to wax or seal it. I hurt so badly by Wednesday night. I got the trailer washed but I guess three hours of motion, scrubing the vertical sides was too much for this 50 year-old set of shoulders. I couldn't even lift my right arm last night. I was in agony. It was so bad I had the chills. I was freezing and my whole body and teeth were chattering. I know that is just another thing that comes with age, and not related but FFFFFFKKKKKK! I hate this getting old stuff.

 

Patty, you may be getting older but not wiser. You need to listen to your body and not over due the things which set off the pain. Clue: If waxing the car was painful doing the same motions with a large trailer might just bring on the same or worse results. Don't make me have to call Granny!

 

Hope you can get a quick appointment, you really need it.

 

Good luck with some relief soon, Patty! You just need to discover how much you can/can't do.

 

Gotta know when to call it quits sometime. It's not worth pushing to do something only to hurt for days afterwards.

The good news is that there are several treatment options for rheumatoid arthritis now.

and yes getting older sucks. of course in my humble opinion the the alternative isn't particularly attractive either.

Just started reading this...glad you went to the doctor! When I started reading the beginning about all the joint pain I though about Lyme's.....
