...who gets two vertical greasy marks on each rocker panel after rain? They seem to be aligned with weep holes in the bottom of the doors. Cosmoline? Does it eventually go away?

Nope, I get it to. It's especially noticeable after I have recently waxed the car.

I get the same stuff on my '01 model. My guess is that the inside of the door is treated for rust /corrosion. Rain or wash water rinses off some of this treatment and out the drain hole in the door (check the area of the gunk in relation to the drain hole in the door).
