gpw will show the exhaust dust-
my solution is to dust the rear every couple of days and then once a week or so i hit it with a good detailers spray. the bumper is the worst part on my car!

Yeah the rear of the car gets quite dirty very fast. It's more noticeable on white and black. But my old silverstone got just as dirty, just couldn't see it.

the back of most cars have this problem to some extent.

All the road dust and dirt and exhaust wraps around the back of the car in a relatively disturbed flow of air, so it doesn't just "blow off" like it does on the rest of the car. I believe this characteristic of the air coming off the back of the car is used in racing (drafting). If you get REALLY close to the back of a big rig on the highway, you can draft them, too

It's an unfortunate fact of life. You're probably just noticing it more with the GPW.

What are you using for a wax or sealant? Some attract dust and dirt more than others.

yeah the rears always have a small black layer of dirt. i usually inspect my car everyday and run my finger on the bumper and see a small amount of black dirt on it, even after the first drive after a carwash.
i usually use detailers spray or wipe down wholoe car with a microfiber.

I'd vote for the California Car Duster or any of the clones out there (I like the OXO) followed by a QD/MF wipedown if it needs it.

Same here. California Duster saves me a few carwashes. I can go about a month and car still looks pretty clean.
