Dash cut problem
ok, I was over confident I could myself.
I cut the dash and installed the motormusic bezel for an Alpine 6,5" screen.
The problem occured when I slipped out with the Stanley knife
and made a cut in the corner. After install you can still see the cut in the vinyl.
Is there any way to repair this?
Thanks!

have never done it, but understand that you can use patch kits to melt the vinyl back together...
got this by seach of the internet- do not know the company or the products:
http://www.carparts.com/autoparts/Browse/t...6+10201/c-10620
btw, if you are wiling to replace the dash- there is no downside to trying to repair it... its inexpensive enough!
if you decide to attempt this, post up before and after pics and your process please- would love to read about your experience.

Thanks Wanabe, i'll try this first.
If that doesn't work I'll let someone make a fiberglass edge arround the bezel.
This is one pic of the dash as it is. It wasn't meant to show the cuts but now you do have an idea. By the way, Willam Laurent made this gallery for me.
Whem I'm a member I can post some detailed pics of the before and after.
