Default Emblem Removal

Ive tried to search for this, but i cant find it. I want to know how to remove the side emblems, without leaving anything leftover. I tried to take the S off, it was a bitch, and afterwards it left a S shadowed onto the fender. Anyone have tips/tricks on this??

wd-40 and dental floss...
take your time and after the removal be sure to clean up the area well, then wash it and finally rewax it.

i would also tape the area with masking tape just in case you remove the badges and decide to put them back on.
i can tell you that it is very hard to reinstall if you decide to unless you have the area marked.

I just removed my side emblems yesterday, and I have tons of that stuff on my car. Everyone recommended 'goo gone' for me. If I get to it before you get yours off, I'll let you know how it goes.

Be sure and wash around the emblem thourougly so you wont scratch the paint when you remove the emblem with the detal floss or fishing line.

Goo gone ,prep sol or wd40 should work to remove the glue.

If the glue has a good edge, you can probably get it off without using any chemicals. Simply try and rub up an edge or a corner with your thumb, and keep going.

If that doesn't work, try soaking a cloth with Goof Off 2 (make sure it's the '2'), spraying the glue down with GO2 and holding the rag against the glue to let it soak in. Then try and peel up a corner or edge.
