Recently I had a front bra installed by a local shop highly recommended to me. They only carried Clearshield by Bekaert. I requested the headlights be covered but they would not saying Bekaert material would make them overheat. I do not recall the thickness of Clearshield, but I am considering going elsewhere to get just the headlights done.

BTW, they claimed to no longer install 3M because the film was not as tough as clear shield and got damaged too easily. (their claim not mine)

I just hope hope my clearshield stay clear. With 3 mos experience, I have been very pleased.
