Thumbs up How to refresh the headlights

Hello, Im wondering if it is worth the time to do something about my headlights. The lenses are getting foggy. Is their a trick that can be done? I have already treated them with headlight polish and that didnt really do much. I think the coating on them has been buffed off.

Im wondering if sanding them with a super fine grid piece of sand paper will hurt or help me.

Thank you for your input.

yup sanding would be your next step. try some 2000 wet grit and then buff it out. you should be good after that

I tried the Plastx first and had good success, but the haziness came back. I tried the Mother's product and love it 10x more.

Use some of this on your headlights. It's a metal cleaner, but it'll cut through all the haze. Keep a cotton cloth on hand to polish it after applying the nevr-dull.

Repeat the process as needed.

The best thing about it is, when you're done you can clean your exhaust with it.

Edit: Oh yeah, you can get it at almost any auto-parts store, Walmart, or similar.
