Default How to remove light scratches/scuffs?

My friend has a 2007 Dodge Charger & just recently got hit from behind. This small hit left some black Scratches/Scuffs on his trunk from the other vehicle. You are able to remove some of it with your finger nail, but the rest is very difficult to take off. What is the best way to take these light Scratches/Scuffs out? Thanks.

looks kinda like rubber marks-
if no paint damage you can fix this...

several choices-

1. clay

2. paint cleaner (or other light polish like a swirl remover)

3. wd-40 (not kidding... and its also prob the easiest- but i wouldnt use it before the clay)

btw, since you are a member, you can use our gallery. if you use the gallery to post up pics we can easily blow them up to see details better- i could not blow yours up easily... not a big deal though.

Yea, I think its from a front plastic piece from a truck. So the paint isn't damaged.
I will try the items you recommended in the number order.
Thanks for the tips!
