Knees on the seat, facing backwards, not a comfortable postition. I have found it beneficial for another person to be "mirroring" your cleaning on the outside. That way you can get a little pressure on the window.

I actually found a zipper on the top of the window on the inside today. I didn't try it, but it looks like you can flap down the window onto the trunk with the top up and clean it. I'm trying tommorow. The zipper is hidden underneath a flap at the top of the plastic window on the inside.

Don't touch the zipper!!! Others have used it, and it's not made to use on a regular basis. It will eventually break.

Well...
Today I was going to take out the rear window. What I found is that the zipper has a rubber insulation on the inside of the metal zipper. This looks like it prevents water coming through the cracks in the zipper. So, I left it as is. It looks like if I undo the zipper, I would have to replace the rubber weather strip.

The zipper is there to expedite the process of replacing the plastic window. It is not intended to be used on a regular basis!
