Default Polishing up titanium

Just noticed while changing some fluids that my J's 60Rs has some burnt 'stuff' on the resonator. Is it possible to some how remove it safely? While I'm at it I want to pretty much 'doll' up the whole exhaust. Anyone have any insight or suggestions? Thanks.

Here's a pic.

No idea. It's gritty in texture. I'm guessing a plastic bag or something.

i have removed plastic bags from exhausts before... total pia and a very slow process.
pick off as much as you can by hand. then soak the area with an all purpose cleaner- or better yet, soak an area at one end. let it sit a minute then work it. on the other end, try some wd-40. same thing- let it sit a minute then work it. go with whichever works best. you might be able to use an old credit card as a tool if you are very very careful. brushes are good tools too.
adhesive removal products (3m) also can work.
its a process like the badge removal- slow slow work work...

Not loud at all. It's very nice cruising around town with virtually no drone at all. It opens up nicely in VTEC. I was leaning towards the 70RS or the 70RR but those are crazy loud. Only weighs about 8lbs.
