scratch remover.or lack there of.
hey guys! i have some key marks that someone decided to do cuz they were being assholes. Anyways....Do you guys know of any that can remove scratches? i know if you can catch it with your nail, its too deep.
But is there a way? I saw this thing on AS SEEN ON TV......and you get your touch up paint......use it......let it dry, then it comes with like 10 pads and you go step by step and it cuts down on the scratch....
OR.......i could just tape both sides of the scratch... use touch up paint, take a credit car or something like that and kinda smoothen out and pull the excess paint......pull up tape, and voila?

Man...I love reading that thread. I read it when I'm bored at work.
The link there is similar to your first idea. Lots of sanding and polishing to get the paint to match.
I think it's going to take a lot more effort then just putting the pain ton and pulling up the tape.
Good idea in theory though.
It'll take a lot of time to get it to match up.
Do you have a link to the product that you saw? You might be able to do it yourself without the kit, and maybe get all the supplies cheaper on their own.
