Default Windshield glue on dash... Help!

I just had my windshield replaced, and there is a glue spot on my rear view mirror, as well as a couple streaks on my dash.

I already got the rear view glass with Goo Off 2, worked great... and I tried the Goo Off 2 on my dash, and it seems like it is just taking off my Vinylex. It's not removing the glue...

Anyone have tips on what I should do to remove this stuff?

Thanks,
Troy

Try mineral spirits, it takes off most adhesives without hurting leather or vinyl. You can pick this stuff up at any home depot type store. Test it out on a small not so obvious section (in the door jam maybe) to make sure it doesn't pull any color or do anything to the dash itself. When you apply it, it will get shiny, just use a leather cleaner or something like that to get the shine off and then recondition it if you wish.

I'd take it back to the glass installer, make them remove it, they screw it up, they pay for fixing it.
