Some chooch did the same thing to me (you have to wait 30 days) and he kept dragging it out and waiting til the last day to respond. Meanwhile he has all my parts and I'm out over $2000

You would THINK he would just give you your money back. There are different types of ppl out there though unfortunately
I hope that's not the case. UPS will only deal with the shipper from this point (now that the package is in their possession), so I would be largely in the dark regarding their correspondence (or lack thereof).

uPs actually doesn't say anything to the shipper. They are only dealing with the UPS store. If ups does cover it they will give a check to the shipper and that's it.

Sorry to hear you had bad experiences. I had a pleasurable experience buying parts from you! Not to derail, but the trans is in and working great! Your packing was grade A .

Awesome! I used 100 cubic feet of bubble wrap before putting the trans into the box Glad the giant pillow arrived safely and is working as expected.

Oh okay. Hopefully PayPal won't wait for UPS to make a decision. I mean, that really has nothing to do with refunding my money. Either UPS sends Corey his parts or a check. Corey could resolve this immediately, obviously, but that doesn't seem to be an option he's willing to exercise currently.

I was referring to the replacement...or is everything on hold until it gets sorted out via UPS/Paypal?

He likely wouldn't been able to have a replacement made anytime soon anyway. Not to mention the head is damaged (no packing material to protect it; just PLASTIC WRAP/SARAN WRAP!!! The head components are precision pieces made out of aluminum (a soft metal). Why he thought this was sufficient is beyond me). I've requested a full refund through PayPal.
