I thought UPS doesn't take responsibility if a part is damaged that THEY didn't package? For me, I have UPS package any expensive parts....ALWAYS. If a buyer doesn't want to pay for it....NEXT.

Corey needs to work with you...sucks that he's making excuses.

Corey's response to us trying to get him to follow-up:

Relax, I have a job that keeps me far too busy to lurk this crap forum. I talked to Kyle today, things are in motion to resolve this crap

So when this is reosolved I will help remove any further need for him to "lurk this crap forum".

When this post started I thought this was going to work out to be an amicable solution but it appears to have gone a different direction. Hopefully i am wrong.

He hasn't contacted me at all today. Not sure what he means by 'things are in motion.' He simply needs to click 'refund'; subsequently, I'll close all claims. I appreciate the help Mocky!

True. I worked at ups for 2 years.

If the package is packed by the shipper, with insufficient packaging, they will not insure the piece. And it is a lengthy process

I know this isn't helping the situation but, if he is so "busy" why does he have time to respond and post on facebook? Isn't answer on one website just as easy and hitting refund on another?

That is not true. UPS will only not pay if it's deemed insufficient packaging (which this is) caused the damage. UPS doesn't care who shipped or packaged it as far as paying a claim.

I wish people wouldn't post incorrect "facts".
