Can someone who is close to Jeff get him to post on this thread? That would answer a lot of questions real quick.

 

I have the feeling that he's unavailable. The question now may be "is he still alive? Sorry but someone had to finally say it.

A group of OH owners were together yesterday and Hardtopguy came up. Almost all of us have had dealings w/Jeff over the years, several dating back to the initial days of HTG. To a person, none of us ever had a bad experience - in fact it was just the opposite. Now this happens. We can all vouch for the experiences that we HAD. But we are all as mystified as everyone else as to what is going on NOW.

 

guys- if you pay through paypal with your credit card, you can always file a complaint through your credit card company.

if you paid with another method, i wouldn't wait until the dispute window is over.

Judging from the context, I think he meant to say that the topic of HTG came up. Dunno what's goin on right now. I've had nothing but quick turnarounds from him in the past. I started this thread to update people based on what he had told me on the phone to allay fears. But I agree, something strange is going on here. Anyone contact this Gary guy to get answers?

 

Well, I filed a credit card dispute today, I sent Jeff two emails each of the last 2 weeks asking for updates. He claimed in an email to me on July 1st, 2009 that it had shipped already fedex (no idea when) and could not respond with a tracking no.

Again, I placed my order may 27th, I think.

Jeff - If you read this, sorry - but I think I have been patient long enough. You sound like a great guy and are polite etc, but like my email said to you, I quickly gave up hope. I hope you can understand my position...
