yeah i think until HTG get's his act together (or whomever is helping gary or whoever) then there needs to be a big warning to the community, don't buy from HTG until it's straight, we respect his past business dealings but the last 6 months or so has gotten out of hand and there have been too many people not getting product and having to get refunds from their CC or paypal.

Seems like everyone not in the US is getting burned big time as well some people in the US. Something is wrong for sure. There is no way in this should happen. No excuses period. It is possible he is in financial trouble why else the delay tactics. Maybe it's a parts ponzi scheme. Desperate times can make people do desperate things.

I've had a PM from another UK member from the forum saying he's received his parts.

The invoice letter head was HTG but the parts were dispatched from

Gary Ganas - Boyland Auto Group LLC
gganas@boylandhonda.com

I was told by Gary that Jeff was dealing with my order, I'm getting really really p1ssed off with this now and will be sending an email to whoever runs Boylands Honda on Monday morning.

WTF is going on?!

I'm sure if there is they are staying out of this... anybody who sticks their face in here representing will just become a target. Jeff has to know he's pissed off some peeps and is being unresponsive on purpose. You don't run a business like HTG and just drop it all without a second thought. That doesn't make any sense.

Boyland Honda have contact with Jeff.
I'm not sure if they know what kind of storm is brewing up here on the poor service from HTG yet, they will on Monday though cause I'm going to be telling them myself!

good luck.

maybe a moderator should sticky this thread or something...
we dont want people to continue to buy just so they continue to fall into problems and end up here.

but if anything. boyland honda is not the person to take out your anger on.
save it for jeff.

I do not know the complete arrangement between Jeff and Boyland Honda, or his 'day job' , however it may have been a casual 'look the other way' re: Honda of America's normal policies of business (which has, on balance, been in our community's favor over time).

I wouldn't start out by being too belligerent with them. But if you do feel the need to go through them, be professional about it please.

At the risk of being one of those 'old timer's who come to HTG's rescue', most who deal with parts for our car are in a low-volume and unpredictable business and are pretty shoe-string to begin with. We've seen plenty of businesses go under, and I empathize for those who've lost out even though most people are made some restitution with a CC dispute.

We don't know what's going on in Jeff's life (illness of self, wife, child, etc.). It does seem odd (I myself have a small order from mid-May that has been paid but not satisfied), but I think most of us that 'vouch' for HTG are mostly saying he's been around long enough and done enough business, it's unlikely that this turn of events is some purposeful screwing of his customers but more likely his attentions have been focused elsewhere for whatever reason.

I would suggest though that if you haven't gotten your order, file a CC dispute and get it sourced elsewhere for the time being.
