Based on previous positive buying experience from HTG, last week I took a chance and ordered the Black S2K front/side emblem kit.

Within a day I received notification that my order was complete and shipped; today I received my parts in the mail.

I do feel bad for those who have not received their merchandise or been credited; however, in my case, I am glad that Jeff & Co. got the job done.

Thanks!
Odd that that is the same thing I've been waiting since 12th may for.... :-(

I ordered a a replacement antenna last week from HTG before I saw this post. Got an email "complete" with the tracking number a day or so after. Checked the number and it's out for delivery, should see it when I get home.

Perhaps it's an issue of stock levels ... I think it was mentioned before that he doesn't stock all items on the website (maybe??) ... it'd be nice to know though.

The real problem is the customer service aspect.

The guys who are ordering parts and getting them within a few weeks. Great, good for you, in-fact consider your self blessed.

Many of us here as customers are willing to be patient for an order. To be completely honest the parts that I ordered I didn't need to keep or make my car functional. They weren't a "need", purely a "want". This enables me to be patient when INFORMED.

I waited over 60 days for my order and never received it. (Yes, May 5th. $400+ with 2 day fed ex shipping. what a joke...) I didn't get one call or email back after 20+ attempts. (I have the emails and phone logs to prove it) I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. I wasn't rude or short in any of my attempts at communication with Jeff at HTG.

My point is that if the guy would have atleast made it a point to email or call me back with an update I would have been willing to wait. Especially based on his past proven track record.

I am sick and tired of others coming in this thread to mention how in the past they were well taken care of. What really matters is what is happening with orders today. And it seems that some people are getting orders right away while others aren't. Like I said before this isn't such a bad thing as "Stock" levels might not be readily available ;however it is simply repulsive to not communicate if you're gonna charge $ and not deliver any communication on delays.

Or perhaps it's an issue about not having the decency to respond to customers?

I place (what I believe) to be an order for a fair amount of money on 12th May.

I get one email telling me he's waiting for a few items after I chase him 3 or 4 times.

I get another email saying it's all in and he's shipping after I chase him more times.

Then I hear nothing

The things that annoy me are;

1: Lack of contact
2: Paying a lot of money for "priority shipping" on a load of stuff I still haven't had
3: Hearing that someone else orders the same thing as me, after me, and gets decent service.

Fortunately, being British, I'm used to lousy service but I've been more than patient in this respect and have still not bad mouthed the bloke...

What can possibly explain the lack of contact or bits yet still being able to ship out other customers orders promptly?

As it stands at the moment I'm over $200 out of pocket and very pissed off!

Wish I were only out $200 ... I'm out $1600, so I'm trying to keep optimistic ... Not in a huge rush, because I'm also waiting on a S/C from SOS ... so I have the time to wait ... it's just not fun.

I keep coming back, expecting him to have come and apologized. Apparently that's too much.

Poor.

^ Me too. I keep reading this thread expecting to hear somthing from either HTG or whomever is trying to make a go of the business.

I can handle delays.., just can't handle lack of communication. Even if told "I messed up and will get it out to you as soon as possible", would suffice.
