In my oppinion though, you bought this from another memeber who told you it was a Muz, found out it wasnt, and unloaded it on the boards to another sucker under the premise of "I was told it was"

Either way its not a big deal Im sure that a $30 transaction wont blemish your name on s2ki too much if others can vouch for you..just putting my case out there

This is tantamount to someone buying "volk racing s2000 wheels" and being shipped OEM's instead... Contacting the seller afterwards, and being told to "look more closelly".

This is a load of crap.

Ragingazn is a good guy and to soil his name on a deal that happened 2 years ago because you decided you did not like what you purchased is pretty lame.

The Karma comming back to designfreak going to be ugly.

Whether 1-2 years, the fact remains that he was sent an OEM mirror and NOT a convex mirror. How could you mistake the two?

dude did you skip the 2 weeks of grade school where they taught you reading comprehension and common sense?

I bought it from LOCAL member, If I had any doubts at the time I bought it dont you think I would call him up and say whats going on? why isnt it convex?

since you didnt get it the first time, 3 long-time, honest LOCAL members can vouch that the mirror on his car before he sold it to me was the muz convex.

Sorry I dont unload Crap on other people. if it was a crap product I would throw it away or ask for my money back from the guy I bought it from. I dont think that way.

OH yea... I'm blind and I drive an S2000....

**EDITED** Pulled out the race card with sarcasm, though through reading it over again, wasnt the best thing to say about my ethinicity

Either you sold something you thought was a Muz but it wasn't or he's lying about it not being convex. Anyways, let's say it's not convex. even if you didn't know or believed it was a Muz mirror, doesn't mean everything is ok. I could state I'm selling an 80gb Ipod and send a 30g Ipod thinking it was an 80gb. Of course the buyer has all the right to complain and get his money back or the right item. Even though a year has passed doesn't make this issue go away.

OK, I don't want to take sides, but I bought a mirror from Muz... It is an OEM mirror! it's just the OEM they sell in countries with right hand drive. So in effect it is just a reversed version of what we have in our right mirror. the actual surface of the mirror is not convexed... it just has a wider field of view...

Or the buyer is clueless and has no idea where to find the 80gb label on the IPOD....and tells you up and down that it is a 30gb IPOD because he couldn't find the 80gb label.

You can tell that the mirror is different just by looking at it side by side(new vs old).

So the buyer is mad because it isn't convex enough.....well that was never specified in the sale. The sale was for a muz convex mirror and that is what he got....Identical to the one on muz. Confirmed above.

Hence the waiting for a year....I'd like to see an apology.

yeah, I would like to see an apology as well...The mirror was unpacked at a local tech day were it was placed side by side to the OEM mirror on the car at the time. Half a dozen s2ki members all chimed in saying that I was ripped off. After speaking to the seller I contacted one of the CO's ( who was present at the meet and confirmed that it definatelly wasnt convex). He told me that there was really nothing he could do...left it at that untill I was reccomended to post here... If you purchased the item in person from another member I can only surmise that blindness must be to blame.

I realize that the "Muz" mirrors are in reality OEM JDM passenger side replacemnts with the same slight convexity as we find in our right side mirrors. I have mounted the mirror in the car, and it certainlly isnt that.
