the story behind it,

I bought the driver convex mirror from a local member and never installed it. he said it was a convex made by Muz, i trusted him. after 6 months of sitting on my desk I sold it for like i think it was 30 bucks. Its seriously been like 2 years since i've sold it to you.
Let's think about this real quick, and I'm not trying to "blemish" anyone here, since I don't know the seller. I'm just stating facts:

You first said you bought the mirror locally, and was told it was a Muz mirror, and you trusted the seller. This to me states you're not sure, just taking someone else's word for it.

Then:
I took pics of the same exact mirror I sent you and they were posted when I started the FS thread. I bought it from a local member, which btw 2 other very very honest and upstanding members of the az forum can vouch that the mirror sold to me was convex. When I bought the mirror it did not have the oem glue on the back, thats I know it was not the oem, it had the glue that Muz sells.
Now, you're positive it was a Muz mirror.

The you said it's been 2 years, which you had to correct yourself to 1 year. Looks like the only consistency I see here is inconsistency.

I vouch for designfreak as being an honest person. While this is obviously just a case of "define convex," as to which both parties have a different deffintion, the seller should refund the money if the buyer received an item "not as described," especially in a close knit community like s2ki.

Why have the mirrors not been placed next to each to see if there is no difference?

Seems like some photos of the mirrors next to each other could knock this out.

NEW ISSUE:

I bought and paid for an Invidia Exhaust from PGA95355 (PAUL) on Sept 1st 2006 via PayPal. Contact with the seller went well for about a week or so, then lost contact with seller. Tells me a month later that he has lost his cell phone. So I gave him 2 weeks more to contact me and he did not. I have sent e-mails to him, PMs, and posted on this f/s thread. He is not replying nor is he providing a valid tracking number. I know there was a mix up at first with UPS when he first tried to ship the exhaust, but I would appreciate if someone/anyone in cali can check up on him (or anyone that knows him).

I have asked multiple times for him to call UPS and check on the exhaust for me and as done it once and has not done it yet. He is impossible to get in contact with and the tracking number he provided states the following:

"Billing information has been sent to UPS. Check site later for updated shipment status or contact shipper for more details. "

this has been the same status for over a month. Please can someone who knows Paul tell him that I really want my exhaust to actually ship.

I am very disappointed at a member here that is supposedly a "Community Organizer" in California to be taking this long and not replying or contacting me about the status of my exhaust.

PAUL ADAMS (PGA95355)
MODESTO, CA
E-MAIL: P_Adams@ml.com

I would REALLY like to just get my exhaust and be done with this deal. Taking over a month to send me something after I paid is not acceptable especially when it was agreed that they would ship it the day of payment.

If anyone can help check on PAUL and see if he has actually shipped it or not, please PM or e-mail me @ park.joon@gmail.com

Thank you guys.

and no reply??

I PM'ed you right back after I got yours.

As I stated in my PM, I am sorry that they were dirty but I didn't have a chance to clean them. As for the holes, I didn't even know about them. Where are they??? I don't think that they are visible when they are on the car because I never seen one and yet you say there are 6. I'm not saying that you are lyung but it's just I didn't even know about them. There was only one that I know and it was on the driver seat. It was a tiny one like the tip of the needle. As for the plastic, again if there is something i'm sure it is not visible when they are on the car because i never seen them before

i honestly never recieved a reply from you, or i wouldn't have stated you never replied. When I asked what condition the seats were in, you said they were mint, only 3000 miles on them. So obv i know the seats are used and i'm not expecting brand new seats, but when you say that, i atleast expected a 8-10. I will take some pictures now and show you why i'm upset. I dn't know if this happened during shipping or if you knew about them. Also i have a number where we can get our shipping cost back since dhl took longer then they expected.

I don't know where the damaged parts are but I am %100 sure that they are not visible when they are on the car. Otherwise I would definitely have stated everything that I am aware of. I didn't lie, there is only 3000 miles on them.

As for the shipping, I was told that you were supposed to receive them on last Friday (I believe it was the 6th). Let me know what that number is and we can contact them together and get the money back. I paid $150 for shipping
