I bought red/black ap2 seats from davgoat

During our communication, he stated that the seats were in good condition with no rips/tears.

The plastic covers on each side were scuffed badly. There was a small tear on the driver side. The red section of the leather in the seat bottoms were stained black a bit. The seat rails barely work. Also they were both filthy. And the metal pan on the driver side was rusty.

I asked for a $75 refund, and was told no. Then I asked for merely $50 with no response. He is now not responding at all to my emails.

In fairness, he offered to take the seats back, but this would cost me ~$100 out of my pocket, plus I would not have gotten my original $ back for shipping. So I would have lost nearly $200 with nothing to show. That would have been unacceptable, and logically so.

So, I tried to get a partial refund through paypal, and they denied it because they only guarantee that you received the item, not the quality or damages.

I only want a $50 refund, at least this way I could pay for a portion of having the seat rails services, and the leather reconditioned.

we agreed on meeting at 6:00 at my house. i even offered to compensate for gas and he is a no show. I waited outside for more than 1 hour and finally took off to eat dinner with my kids because they were getting hungry.

 

I have dealed with Brian. Communication and customer service top notch. I asked for CF hood that he had in stock. Replied yes in stock.... I paid the same day. Got the traking info and got the hood 4 days after I ordered it through paypal.

I call BS on this; he gave me an address with a phone number. I called the phone number he gave me before I left to make sure he was up for the purchase. The phone number is not in service. I PM'd him afterwards saying he gave me a bad phone number and he said he had a broken keyboard

then i PM'd him again asking for a phone number, and also stating that i was running late; to which i received no response.

If you were waiting at home for an hour, im sure you wouldve checked your PM's within the 3 hours that I've pm'd you.

If you wouldve provided me with a legit phone number then i'm sure things would have went smoothly.

I'm a little suspicious that this guy has some affiliation with a "friend" of mine, no_quit_fighting who i can vouch is a good guy; but turned around and stabbed me in the back more than once.

i would NEVER skimp out on anyone -- provided you gave me a legit phone number so i can call and confirm the pick up.

don't believe him, he's a guest; and i have a suspicion that he's working with stan in order to tarnish my name.

I've recently also had to deal with Stan accusing me of stealing property of which i have evidence to prove isn't.

i can sit here and blab on about whos right or wrong, but i'll let people decide. you can ask anyone who's purchased anything from me that i'm an honest guy. i even shipped a super charger to Greece.

 

also this seems kind of fishy, he posted this at 6:45. claims to have waited an hour and also went out to eat with his kids. what do you guys thnk?

 

What has a guest account got to do with this situation?
He can argue that you have been on this forum for 165 days.

As far as no quit fighting goes, I heard nothing but good things about him. He even offered to help me when I have never met him before.

 

well the facts that he's pointed out don't add up.

and as far as stan, i want to handle things with me and him - im only posting all this stuff about him because he's ignoring my phone calls and i believe this is the only way to get his attention

 

I do agree that the "member" comment wasn't nessesary.

I am not taking sides.... It is what it is. This was just bad communication here. srmp888@yahoo.com should of called thebigcheese and asked his where abouts. The facts do show that thebigcheese had the buyers address but the thebigcheese never showed.

I do understand the situation completely, Just bad communication. Also Something like this doesnt make thebigcheese a bad person so I believe posting this event should not even hit the boards. If you srmp888@yahoo.com got shafted and didnt get the parts for what he paid for. Then post. Other than that, no exchange made. So everyone still at the first stage of the transaction, my 2 cents

 

what I don't understand is that if srmp888@yahoo.com replied the first PM saying that his keyboard was broken, then why did he post here on the bad guy forum??

I call BS. I don't know either of the parties but the only person at fault I think is srmp888@yahoo.com since he made an unnecessary post here. Also, it is weird that he never posted again. Most of the time when someone posts something, they check it often too see if there is a reply from the other party
