I bought a Vortech kit from "batikan" a month ago. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=436093. I sent the payment through paypal and recieved the kit a week later. I sorted through the parts and realized the timing box and map box were missing. I contacted him and he told me he would check with his mechanic. He got back to me and said he didnt realize it was missing when he bought it because he started with the aem ems. He found out the parts would cost $900 through Vortech. . I told him I want the original two box clamp that will run the s/c. He said this $75 peice is the same as the vortech.
He assured me before I bought the kit it was complete minus the fuel pump. The thread up top verifies that. If I take the $75 box its as if I bought an incomplete kit for $3400, missing the most crutial parts then buying the $75 part on the side. As of now I paid over $3500 and I am missing the electronics. I told him I do not want anything but the original parts because that is what I paid for(minus the fuel pump). I told him a local member is selling the parts I need for $500. Either he partially refunds me $500 to get the parts that were supposed to come with the kit or refund me fully. I requested a refund, which he agreed on but wanted me to pay for the fees and shipping to get it back to him. I dont think I should be losing any money over this transaction for his misknowledge of the item he sold.

A few months back, I purchased a set of GP Sport rear pods for $80US.
I requested he send it via USPS Airmail of which would have been ~$40US, totalling $120US.

As I live in Australia, the item was received by me after 14 days (which is normal for USPS Airmail) and everything was sweet.

About 1 month AFTER receiving the box, I get a letter from DHL. Its a bill for $400US.

Not only did he send it by DHL (which is 2-3 times the cost of USPS Airmail), he sent it by DHL EXPRESS (a 4 day international delivery service ) which cost $400US.... as he has an account with them.

I refuse to pay for his ignorance in sending by DHL, note as per our agreement but DHL being DHL (in otherwords ****heads) tell me I am responsible for his account bill unless I can get in contact with him and he agrees it was an error. *sif that's going to happen..... ~rolls eyes~*

I've PM'ed him twice, no reply.
I can't contact him as I don't know his email / his bodyshop address / phone number.

 

I agree. If he claims the kits complete without the fuel rail, and sends a kit that is indeed "not COMPLETE" than thats false advertisement and should be responsible for his own mistakes. Man up and fix the problem you created.

 

I am not telling him that I will not give his money back or anything. Keep your comments to yourself without knowing anything. I am looking for a black box for him. I wouldn't sell him something incomplete if i knew it either. I offered him the MSD/Vortech Box but he wants but he says he wants the one that comes with the kit.

What I offered him is I'll get him the Vortech/MSD one and keep looking for a black box and send it to him as soon as i find one. He can also keep the MSD/Vortech one. This way he can drve his car to and not wait. I want to solve this thing as much as he does. I am not here to scam anyone. I sold $5K worth of stuff here

All i asked for was a full refund or a partial refund. You can save yourself the trouble of finding the parts for me. It has been over a month. I told you there is a local member here in Hawaii that has the parts that should have been included. We all know the worth of the Vortech electronic boxes and $200 isnt going to cut it. I pmd you back a possible resolution. Please take that into consideration. Thank you.

 

Thanks for the vouch Ryan. I didn't sell him something with missing parts intentionally. I found out about it when he told me that it was missing. I am willing to get him the part but his friend is asking for too much money. instead, i am offering him to send the msd/vortech box which is the same thing but installation is a little different and as soon as i find the black box, i'll send that too and he can keep/sell the vortech/msd box if he wants.

I don't want him to wait for the part but instead start driving the car right away. He can swap the boxes when I ship the other one

I understand what you are trying to do but I told you I do not want the universal part at all. It will create more trouble for me to install the universal part then switch it out for the other box. I bought this kit from you hoping it would be complete for a quick and low cost installation. I will accept a partial refund, which will also save you the trouble of searching and paying for shipping to get the parts to me. It works out for both of us. That is all I ask and you will never hear from me again.
