Default Password JDM Customer Service

What do you guys think about PJDM's Customer Support?

I made an order over the phone last week for a CF intake because the site rejected my card since I am purchasing from overseas.

My card was rejected twice on the site but for some reason they still blocked the payment!

Then I had to call long distance, and after 3 or 4 tries someone finally picks up. Then I spent 15 minutes speaking to some guy who processed the order over the phone. After processing he said they will send me an email confirmation, and they didn't.

Opened a customer support request ticket using the site asking for an order confirmation. 2 days now and no one acknowledged my existence. And the 12 hour time difference just makes it even more difficult to get this sorted.

Nearly a $1000 spent and I am beginning to regret it.

Anyone else have any bad experiences with them?

Is there a particular reason you're ordering from them direct? I would assume you could have an easier time going through a vendor to purchase.

$100 cheaper if purchased directly through them. Other vendors do not have this discount.

Just spoke to the rep again and he forgot to process my order 2 days ago when I called

He did it on the spot and I received an invoice immediately.

But now my card is showing two payments for PJDM. The rep is saying I should get the first one back. We'll see

Sounds like it might have been worth the extra $100 to know the order is being properly handled and your credit card isn't being charged twice. Would also save you some worry as well as the time of having to post an inquiry if anyone else has had problems too. Or not.

First and last time I purchase anything from PJDM. Lesson learned.

Yeah I would've gone through a vendor but who would've expected this. You live and you learn.

Experience has taught me that the vendors tend to provide much better customer service than the manufacturers. The vendor has to constantly deal with customers and understands that a pleasant experience invites repeat business. The manufacturer is going to continue to sell their parts to the vendors without fail (if a good product) regardless of the few customers they deal with direct.

I'm dealing with this type of situation now since there were incorrectly sized parts included in my Prothane bushing kit, so I'm having to deal with the manufacturer direct to get this corrected. Suffice to say that the response time from their technician/engineer is less than ideal.
