Has anyone listened to the Honda OEM pods?

Not to say that they are better, or worth $750, but I'm wondering if anyone actually has tried it. I don't want to rule out Honda after their renewed emphasis on sound. The sound system on the '04 TL simply blew me away.

I can't wait for the chance to compare a set side by side.

You have good eyes! Nope it's not vinyl, I only use the highest quality leather.

You are seeing two things in the Blue S-Pod pictures:

1) The pics were taken immediately after installation, and indentations are showing in the leather. Nothing to worry about, the underlying foam will resume it's shape a short while after pressing your fingers into it.

2) Remember this is leather...each piece has it's own individual grain. No two pieces are alike, and some show more creasing...or grain. Some parts of the hide are very smooth, almost like vinyl. Others show a lot of grain/texture.

When covering a set, I match the grain for a set of S-Pods as closely as possible. No two sets will look exactly alike, even when cut from the same hide. This is true for all colors, just a little more noticeable with Blue & Red.

I'll be in the Bay Area on Monday 12/08, and I'll take a few sets with me just in case. Check the Bay Area forum to find out place & time if interested.

I'm still able to offer S-Pods to Canadian & European customers for $300 USD, shipping included. If you live in Australia, or elsewhere contact me & I'll see if I can offer this for you too. Time in transit should be about 3 days, and all colors are ready to ship immediately.
