Under the severe service schedule, the following items should be performed at 45k miles:

Items to Replace
1. Coolant in MY 2000 cars with Type I coolant (not necessary with >MY 2001 that use Type II coolant)
2. Brake fluid
3. Engine oil and filter
4. Air cleaner
5. Differential oil

Inspections:
Brake pads, discs, hoses, master cylinder and calipers
Tire inflation pressure
Tie rod ends, steering gearbox and boots
Suspension components - bolts for tightness and ball joints
Driveshaft boots
Parking brake
Lubricate door hinges
Check fluid levels in transmission & washer
Cooling system hoses and connections
Exhaust system
Fuel lines
Lights

That's a lot of work, so if the dealer is willing to do all of it for $300, that's not a bad deal.

If you do it yourself, it should cost about $60 for the fluids including the coolant. Hopefully, you'd know what to look for with the inspections.

Knowing some dealers they will always find something and scare you into fixing or replacing it. Use caution on your choice of dealers.

you wont have to worry about being taken advantage of with me. i go through the troubles of explaing and showing parts, concerns,
or anything that might be an issue with the car with the owner. i like to educate my customers nad make them smarter. it makes me doing my job and them trusting me easier.
