OOOOOHHHH SNAP!!!! Those fuc.kers are DICKS!!! Either Virginia Gardens or Miami Springs.

There's two things you can do. Pay the Ticket Clinic or do the SAME EXACT THING the Ticket clinic will do for you, Go Yourself and save yourself the $75. It's a FU.CKING SCAM by these ticket attorneys.

All they do is go to the PRE-TRIAL CONFERENCE and they plea "no contest". Which means you NEVER have the chance to fight the ticket because the officers NEVER GO TO A PRE-TRIAL CONFERENCE. The State of Florida/Miami-Dade county found a loop hole where they can make more $$$ with this Pre-Trial Conference BS!

When you go to this Pre-Trial Conference, the judge asks what your plea is. It's either going to be:

you choose:

Guilty
Not Guilty or
No Contest Nolo Contonder (i think thats how you spell it)

This Pre-Trial Conference does not give you the chance of winning the case by the officer not showing up and getting dismissed.

If you plea Not Guilty, then you will be given a "Court Date" which is where the officers have to show up. If you're lucky, the cop will not show and the ticket is thrown out, you win. If the cop does show up, then you plea no-contest. But this way you have a 50/50 chance of winning.

Call an attorney and double check with them if you can change your plea after the Pre-trial conference.
Be careful with entering a plea of not guilty. This is where the Ticket Clinic comes in handy because they know the right questions to ask the cop. Usually a great amount of time will pass between you getting the ticket, pre-trial conference (I have one this Friday), and the actual court date. They use this lengthy period of time to your advantage since the cop normally forgets key points.

If you ran the red light then they can ask the officer questions like, 1) Where were you when this happened, 2) How long was the light red before he crossed the white line, 3) Where was his car when the light turned red.

Let us say the cop was at the stop light facing east and you were going north. If he was, say the 2nd or 3rd car, they can claim he didn't have a clear few of the red light. If he doesn't recall they can claim he didn't have an accurate judgement on weither or not he saw the light turn red then saw you driving and assumed it was red when you went through it.

I was ticketed for making a left hand turn on a red on NW 154th St and 79th Ave here in Miami Lakes. The police officer claimed he saw me make the turn through his side view mirror. The attorney told me they used that against him so state that he did not have an accurate and clear view of the light to determine if it was yellow or not when i began to make my turn. I won the case and just paid my fees. Did I take the red light? No so I was happy that justice prevailed.

Well I don't think I'll have the time to go to court, so I'll try the clinic place or Mr. James. When I passed the light, I was turning around looked everywhere and see the cop, then magicly he appeared behind me. I'll let u guys know how this story will end. HOpefully no points taken. Biggest concern for me now cause I'm planning on getting a RS4 late this year so, I really wont be able to afford a more expensive insurance.
