Default Window cable broke....Any Help?

So I was heading out to take my mom for early mothers day last week and when I rolled my window up something popped and the whole window fell right back into the door frame. I removed the door panel and inspected it and have been trying to figure how to fix it. Window did not shatter and it is clearly the motor cable that needs to be realigned or something. The cable separated from the a section that it holds to on the window track.

Anyone have experience with this? Its been frustrating to say the least. I have never worked on window stuff and im simply using the repair manual to guide me as best as possible. Anyone want to help or recommend a shop if worst comes to worst? I am near broke after my Hawaii trip too so I really rather save the money and do this at home and avoid a shop. Thanks in advance!

Edit:

This is what it looks like. You can see the cable snapped and I tried to kindof wind it back up to reinstall but its just too frayed. If anyone has a full replacement lmk. Going to start looking on craiglist and ebay now for replacement.

I can help you zip tie you window up so atleast you have the security of a closed window. That's what I did temporarily until I got a replacement. Honda wanted 400...smh

I know I'm a bit late to the party but hopefully you were able to fix your window.

The window regulator on my buddy's Mazdaspeed 3 got messed up earlier this week, we worked on it till 1am, still not fixed.

Let me know if you need any help. I now have some experience with these PITA's.

Much appreciated and thank you. I have the Honda Repair manual and it was a breeze with it. Just been waiting for the part to get everythign back together. I PMed Yelis a day or so ago for other parts I may ask him for one of his regulators and just get it locally since the Ebay people are taking so damn long to ship.
