Is fire extinguisher powder bad for paint surface?

Cool info indeed. The Chem used at the race tracks is the yellow stuff. It is nasty on paint.

My on board fire system in the car is CO2

The extinguisher I used was a Tri-class. Thankfully I used some compressed air to blow the chemical off of the fender and then rinsed it with water shortly after. There was no damage caused to my paint that I can see.

Remember to hold your breath before pulling the trigger, you do NOT want to breath that crap in, it will cause you to hack and cough violently.
