I almost spun the S2000 out last night for the first time in 7 years.

I installed my rear lower Beatrush chassis brace last night and decided to take the car out for a test drive. My car has always understeered a fair bit, and that has always been fine by me - safer that way. Last night I took a 180-degree on-ramp to my local freeway which I probably drive 4 times a day. At the last apex I must have given it a bit too much throttle and the rear end slid out on me, and then got into a tank-slapper situation like a pendulum. No other vehicles around me, cool dry night with cold tires and pushing it a bit too hard I guess. Not sure if the rear brace affected things but it was the most rotation I've ever had on this car. Lesson learned right there. lol.

unlikely the brace caused this. Now if you put on a massive rear bar, that's another story. Likely a lift throttle oversteer situation with cold tires. don't try to save a tank slapper- both feet in.

glad your ride is in one piece- its too pretty to crash.

my my00 is super tail happy on cold tires/throttle down.
in wet weather it's crazy. lsd with no traction control is the best. wag the tail on every corner...

^thanks for the replies, I think the oversteer was from too much throttle as I did not lift in the corner. I definitely need to keep the shiny side up which is the painted side

I bet the underbody has a few layers of Menzerna power lock, likely need sunglasses to look at anything on Joey's car.

LOl, the wheels sure do, I put Menz. power lock on everything.

My entire car is coated in that old school Honda rustproofing material they used in the old days - honey-like coating. It definitely works to keep the rust away though.
