As I understand it, if I order a welded double diagonal with no harness bar, I can retain the factory bulkhead and 3-point seat belts. This will allow me to keep all the interior trim pieces (with some trimming) and use all the factory tie down points for those pieces. I will have to remove the factory hoops though. Is this correct? If so, please PM price and lead time shipped to 34787 also including leather covers with padding. Thanks!

Does anyone have issues with their harnesses rubbing on the factory bulkhead with the lower harness bar? Bethania has recommended the CBAR, but this would not allow me to keep the center console which is the only storage. I have heard that padding could be added to the bulkhead, etc. Anyone have a fix? Thanks in advance.

Chris,

You would either have to apply some padding to the top edge of the oem metal bulkhead or trim the metal down to clear the straps and then applu something like rubber U shaped stripping along the top edge.

For the tall guys, how much leg room is lost with this setup used in conjunction with a fixed-back seat? I really want a roll bar, but I'm afraid I can't sacrifice much, if any precious leg room

Thank

I'll check this for you. I only have boxed weights off hand.

You dont loose any seat travel unless you are pimping the angle back on your fixed back seat. If you have it at a proper angle, you can go all the way back til you hit the OEM plastics.
