Default I need your knowledge

Ok, so yesterday afternoon I started my MY05, and I noticed that the maint. required was flashing for about a good 10 seconds then goes off after I started the car. But I don't know if it's always been that way an I never payed attention to it or it just started? Does this happen to any of your s2k's??

Its nothing to freak about. I turn off at least 10 a day at honda, its just computer generated to turn on after a certain amount of miles
