BTW for those who registered an interest in the Import Developments CAI I'm waiting for Mingster to get back to me with a price complete with shipping, when hes done that I'll let you know (theres only 2 of you ) and we'll take it from there. Anyone else who's seriously interested PM me, price is 350USD plus postage (whatever it may be)

It's great to see Honda producing a CAI, however judging from this pic. it seems that it draws air from over the top of the existing air dam which will largely deny ram air to it although it will certainly be colder than the existing arrangement. This makes me wonder why they aren't drawing the air from much lower in the grill area. Fear of water ingress??

It partly depends which is the hot side on the radiator. (My uncle works for Denso - he explained about the S2000's radiator at length. (Apparently it's rather good.) Can't remember which is the hot side though. (Modern radiators generally run one hot side, and one cool rather than the old hot at the top approach.

There is an alternative 'free' CAI upgrade. Go driving in Scotland in the winter The radiator won't heat the air past the coldest you can get in a UK summer

-Brian.
