I guess 95RON is outside of the tolerances that the ECU can cope with on a JDM engine?

) so the JDM engine is designed to run on the equivalent of 100 RON I think. Something like that anyway.

Earlier models ('99~'02) are supposed to be run on 98+RON only according to the handbook.
I definatly get better milage on higher octane fuel too
