Alpne 9833 and 9833R differences?

Seems to be a price difference but cant see any physical ones???

Help!

Is it a good unit?

Without the R in theory is a US unit and won't work with the dash control adapter. If you're not bothered about that then I don't believe you'll have any problems, but I could be wrong (radio?)

I also thought the R also indicated that it was a european HU and therefore had the 3.5mm jack on the back which the KCE-865B fingertip control box plugs into.

Ta,

I see you have one too. Do you have to fit the dash controller and I pod thing prior to install? Assume its all in the back?

Where can the dash controller be had from?

Off topic, how do you find your Toyo's and what sort of price are they? Ive killed my nearly new SO2's in 5000 miles

Initial impressions of the Toyos is very positive indeed, but I don't know to what extent the sharpened handling is due to the smaller sidewall (going from F1s on 16" OEM wheels to Toyos on the SSR GT1s) The tyres were just

Ta for that. Cant afford to upgrade the wheels yet, so will go with the Toyo's all round. Always done me proud on various scoobs, but wore badly on the outer edges. Apparently that is improved on the T1R...
