Just make sure you get one with history and an owner that is always checking oil etc.
History is vital on cars to make sure maintenance is kept etc.
TBH Id wait till November time to buy as you will save yourself about £1k!

Just to make it clear, there is no such thing as an AP2 in the UK.
All UK supplied cars are AP1 irrelevant of styling or chassis variants.
Easiest way to describe the variant is by the year of the car.

Agreed, the AP thing causes confusion.
I'd say pre and post 04.
They are quite a bit different to drive, and I personally prefer the 04. Although I really like the way the MY00 feels as it's a bit more raw, but only due to small differences.

MB just out of curiosity... where did you save 29kg from?
Ive recently stripped everything from my boot and think i must have saved 10kg.
Aircon then interior is coming out next for me I think.
